SERVICE OFF-TRACK, CABLE + ROLLER REPAIR
Garage door off its track, hanging crooked, or a snapped cable? CBJ repairs tracks, cables, rollers, and hinges for Waco-area homes.

01 THE WORK BEHIND THE RESULT
02 THE SHORT ANSWER
A garage door runs on rollers inside two vertical and horizontal tracks and is lifted by steel cables wound on drums at the top of the door. When a cable frays or slips, a roller wears out, or a track bracket loosens, the door can bind, hang crooked, or jump out of the track entirely.
CBJ Overhead Door Company repairs off-track doors, replaces lift cables and rollers, straightens and re-secures track, and replaces cracked hinges and stripped hardware for homes across the Waco area. Customers have written about doors that were bent, poorly mounted by a previous installer, or never ran right, and that ran better than new after Blake's repair.
Because an off-track door is under tension and can fall, keep people and cars clear of it and call CBJ to describe what happened.

04 HOW CBJ APPROACHES IT
Stop using the door and keep clear of it. A door off its track can shift or fall.
CBJ looks for what pushed the door out, from a broken cable or worn roller to loose track mounting.
Track, cables, rollers, and hardware are repaired or replaced, then the door is balanced and tested.
05 SERVICE QUESTIONS
The most common causes are a snapped or slipped lift cable, worn rollers, bent or loose track, or the door being hit while moving. Often one worn part lets the door twist until a roller leaves the track.
Often, yes. Minor bends in track and sections can frequently be straightened and re-secured. Blake will tell you honestly whether a repair will hold or whether replacement is the better value.
Quality nylon rollers make a door noticeably quieter and smoother and reduce strain on the opener, which is why CBJ often recommends them on older doors.
